In 1976 Johnson Kam and Eddie Flores, Jr., both budding entrepreneurs, purchased the L&L Drive-Inn® on Liliha Street in Honolulu, Hawaii. Times were tough during the early years but Kam and Flores persevered with their work ethic and optimism. The founders of the L&L Drive-Inn® decided to franchise and expand their operation in 1988. They were among the first to build a reputation of serving fresh plate lunches, in generous portions, and low prices across Hawaii with their very successful chain of 185 Drive-Inn® restaurants. L&L uses Toshiba's WinPOSand it's predecessor the TEC 3600 and TEC 3700. With an embedded system these locations from American Somoa to Alaska and back to Hawaii run day after day and have been doing so for year after year. |

San Francisco's oldest and grandest nightclub, the Great American Music Hall carries guests back to an earlier, more elegant era, with its ornate balconies, soaring marble columns and elaborate ceiling frescoes. To ensure that the Hall is rockin' all night The Great American Music Hall is using the Toshiba TEC 3700 embedded System the precursor to Toshiba's WinPOS. It's a tank! (with lots and lots of buttons). |

Mission Bay Food had been using a small firm with a mid-tier POS Sotfware. they needed to take their company up to a higher lever and so they selected Maitre'D POS for their technology needs. Customers got served faster the lines at lunch moved quickly and more customers were served, increasing the firms' profits. |

For all of you nostalgic diners out there, here is a time machine to take you back to the good old days! Back to the neon lights, flashy architecture, and rock 'n' roll of the fabulous 50's! Designed to pay homage to the most American of icons: the Hamburger, French Fries, Coca-Cola, Malts and Ice Cream Sodas. Lori's Diner are the most classic of diners! Lori's Diner uses Maitre'D POS on Sharp UP-X-500 Terminals. In their five table service restaurants. They scan the customer checks at the cashier station to instantly bring up the check to close. At the airport it's all Quick Service and Maitre'D wrote a special program called "Big Ticket" to print the customer check number in exceptionally large two-inch font to better serve the traveling public, that is now available to all who use the software. |

Located in the heart of Redwood City; The Fox Theatre is a premier location on the peninsula for live shows, concerts, private events and corporate events. The Fox Theatre originally opened its doors to the public on January 2, 1929 as The New Sequoia Theater by Ellis John Arkursh to show motion picture. The heart of the rush is before shows, after the shows and the intermissions. Bartenders needed to have plenty of buttons so that they did not have to search thru different screens. The owners wanted durability. They selected the NCC Reflections POS on embedded terminals. No hard drives to fail, no Windows OP Sys to get viruses and every station is redundant. It's fully PCI compliant, of course. |

The House of Prime Rib is a San Francisco Landmark. Their juicy and delicious Prime Rib is made from the highest quality corn-fed beef available. "The House of Prime Rib has often be imitated, but never been duplicated" said owner Josef Betz Mr. Betz wanted reliability and durability and so he selected the Toshiba WinPOS System. When it was time to replace The House of Prime Rib's twenty-year-old Toshiba/TEC FDS System he elected to stay with the company that has provided him with two decades of service. |
